Here are some key strategies for promoting your blog:

1.
Make sure your blog contains relevant and useful content. When people search the net, they are usually trying to solve a problem, find a service or get information. Make sure your blog has something unique and valuable to offer.
If you can't answer the question: "Why would someone want to visit my blog?" then other people probably won't be able to answer it either!

2.
Update your content frequently. Blogs that are seldom updated don't rank very highly with the search engines. Try to add fresh content as often as possible and your rankings will improve.

3.
Outbound links. Add a list of relevant links to your homepage or a separate "links" page on your blog. Carefully chosen links to other blogs can be very helpful to your visitors, and yes, you guessed it, these links will increase your rankings with the search engines.

4.
Inbound links. And now here is the BIG one: Get other blogs to link to you!
This will bring you traffic even if you are not on page 1 with any of the search engines and, once again, it will improve your ranking.

This is a special icon associated with your website that displays in the browser window and browser tabs next to the URL or the name of your site. A neat trick to make your website stand out from the rest!

* Google Webmaster
Google Webmaster helps you to submit your content to Google and improve the traffic to your site. In order to make use of this service, sign up for a free Google Webmaster account.
Republish your site and you will be verified with Google Webmaster and you can start taking advantage of this excellent resource.

The folowing trick will upgrade the video quality when viewing youTube.

f your internet connection speed is reasonably fast and you want to watch clearer and sharper images on your video clips, you can append &fmt=6 to the URL of the YouTube video that you want to watch. For instance, look at the example below.
The URL for the original video clip below is via http://youtube.com/watch?v=CQzUsTFqtW0.

Once you append &fmt=6 to the URL
(it becomes http://youtube.com/watch?v=CQzUsTFqtW0&fmt=6 )
and you will observe the quality of the video become better and clearer (448 x336 pixels).

The video quality can be further enhanced when you append &fmt=18
(it becomes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAE2-FQHkok&fmt=18 ). When you append &fmt=18, YouTube will download the video as a MP4 (H264 with AAC audio) and encoded it at 480×360.

Having sad that, the above tricks do not work for all YouTube Video. It only works for a small number of videos at this point of time.

Do you know method to build link for your blog?
Link exchange? I already know it.
TLA? Already know about it....

So?

I find it when i go to some place which discuss webmaster related. This method is using link in forum signature at do-follow forum. Some forum is have do-follow feature and if you post a lot, that's mean you get many link for free , right?
That's the logic....

And there is some forum which allowed member to sell signature to people, and if we buy it, we can place our link in their signature. Do you think it's interesting if people doing 1000 posting per month and that's mean you get 1000 backlink...

Yeah, that is just a logic.

Many of us take a lot of time to make sure visitor become more and more every day..
how about take some opportunities, drive traffic to your site without taking more times?

Few good tips i read on another forum. Here are some good tips to success:

1.
Put your site in Web Directories, those are just like phonebooks but with use to your website. Find ones that have good PR( Pagerank from 0-10) like PR 3+ and if your site is indexed your PR will increase.

2.
Get lots of backlinks, this is a nice way to go. Basically if you post a lot on a forum and put a link on your signature you should get some backlinks depending on how many posts you get.

3.
Try to buy links on high PR sites.

4.
Submit to multiple search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo, and Altavista.

5.
Use the Google Webmaster My Site program, and add your site to it.
Then create a sitemap and they will Index your site on Google Search engine.

6.
Learn how to use Link exchanges. This will get you some traffic.

7.
Send messages to friends or people you know, this will get lots of traffic. Most of your friends will love to join your site.

8.
You need to do lots of advertising. To do this get a text link or make a small banner. Then pay people to put it up on there site, or even trade posts for advertising.

9.
A good way to get a link without any money on someone's site is to maybe post 50 on their forum, then ask for a link on their footer. In a month or so, you will see this paid off, because your site may have an extra quality direct link and will be indexed in search engines.

There are many websites that offer link building programs and they guarantee to bring your website or blog on top. But most of them are cheaters and junk. Therefore choosing the right link building service is must for good results.

I don't think link building is bad in any way.
Spend more time on forums, communities, social bookmarking sites and article websites for quality link building.

If i can suggest something, start your own link building campaign but i know it takes a lot of time. Submit your links to web and blog directories, submit blog deep links to social bookmarking services, RSS feed submission, article submission, forum posting, blog commenting, submit online ads, participate in social networking sites etc.
Use your illusion and creativity !

I think, really targeted hand picked links related to your site will definitely help your PR and Search Engine results.

I had earlier bumped on websites that involved quite a lot of things that I haven come across.
And the topic being SEO, well there was lots to learn, and I just wanted to share the information.

SEO- is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it "ranks," the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

SEM- is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages (SERPs). According to the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization, SEM methods include: search engine optimization (or SEO), paid placement, and paid inclusion. Other sources, including the New York Times, define SEM as the practice of buying paid search listings.

SMO- is a set of methods for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites. Methods of SMO include adding RSS feeds, adding a "Digg This" button, blogging and incorporating third party community functionalities like Flickr photo slides and galleries or YouTube videos. Social media optimization is related to search engine marketing, but differs in several ways, primarily the focus on driving traffic from sources other than search engines, though improved search ranking is also a benefit of successful SMO.

Search Engine Optimization is very important to Internet Marketing if you ask me.
Search Engine Optimization along ith backlinks will get you good search engine rankings.

Search Engine Optimization is a process of positioning your site to rank high on Google or other search engines. The initial process for this is to determine relevant keywords. These keywords should be targeted and have high search volumes. Once you determine the keywords, you must implement them into your site's content and meta data. This implementation will allow the bots to better index your site.

SEO is the process and practice of optimizing your website so that it ranks well on search engine results pages (or SERPs). When someone types a word or phrase into search engines (like Google) looking for your product, you want to appear on the first or second page of the search results.
